Beaumaris Residence

Structural engineering (Beaumaris, VIC 3193)
Coveil provided structural design services for a Beaumaris residence featuring masonry and curved masonry architecture, a concrete raft slab system, steel portal frames, and a basement structure with pile retention. The design incorporated suspended concrete slabs and cantilevered structural elements requiring careful control of deflections, durability exposure considerations (coastal environment) and buildable reinforcement detailing. We supported the façade structural design intent (where structural elements formed part of the façade expression) and ensured stability and robustness through clear load paths and coordinated detailing. The structural system was designed within the NCC framework and relevant referenced standards (AS/NZS 1170, AS 3600, AS 4100, and related residential footing/masonry standards where applicable).

Civil engineering / stormwater (Beaumaris – OSD + storage integration)
Coveil delivered a stormwater solution incorporating on-site detention and rainwater storage integration to satisfy required detention volumes while supporting sustainable water reuse. Our scope typically includes pipe/pit design, detention storage configuration, discharge control detailing and overflow management, aligned to ARR hydrology methods and common water authority/council requirements.
