Dromana Residence

Dromana Residence

Structural engineering (Dromana, VIC 3936)
Coveil delivered structural engineering for a Dromana coastal residence incorporating masonry design, curved masonry features, a concrete raft slab footing system, timber framing, steel portal frames and a suspended subfloor structure. Our approach accounted for architectural façade requirements, constructability and durability considerations typical of Mornington Peninsula coastal environments. We produced clear framing and connection documentation to support efficient construction, with design actions and material capacities assessed within the NCC framework using referenced structural standards (AS/NZS 1170, plus concrete/steel/masonry standards as applicable).

Civil engineering / stormwater (Dromana – OSD + rainwater tanks)
For stormwater, Coveil designed an on-site detention solution and rainwater tank integration to satisfy required storage volumes and discharge constraints. We coordinated pit and pipe layout, detention storage configuration and overflow safety to suit the site levels and local drainage conditions, using ARR guidance for hydrology and detention design.
