Structural engineering (apartments – Melbourne, VIC)
For the Anderson Apartments project, Coveil provided structural engineering design for a multi-residential building incorporating suspended concrete slab systems, post-tensioned slab elements, reinforced concrete columns and walls, and a raft slab foundation solution. Our deliverables focused on structural efficiency, service penetrations coordination, and buildability—particularly around slab setdowns, transfer zones (where required) and stability load paths through walls/cores. Reinforced concrete elements were designed to AS 3600, and overall structural actions and performance were checked under the NCC referenced framework, including wind and earthquake actions where applicable.
Civil engineering / stormwater (OSD + underground reuse tanks)
Coveil also delivered stormwater engineering for authority submissions, including on-site detention system design and an underground rainwater reuse tank strategy integrated into the hydraulic layout. We sized storage, configured discharge controls, and coordinated pump/overflow arrangements to meet peak discharge limits and ensure safe overland flow paths. Designs were developed using ARR guidance and aligned with typical Melbourne/Victoria council and water authority expectations for OSD and reuse integration.
